After a terrible battle between two powerful armies of gold and silver chess pieces, each of which possesses certain human attributes, one of the silver knights creates a vast hypercube that acts as a time machine. Realizing that she can restart the flow of time only by solving certain puzzles, Amy is forced to overcome her fears and use every bit of her artfulness and wit. By doing so, she gains insight into herself, as well as some very special powers... Pauline Verhoeff-van Wees grew up in Leiden, The Netherlands, and now resides in the Algarve, Portugal.
