Chicory Island

Doctor Jessica Bennett has just discovered the one thing that drastically changes her life. With her complicated and unfortunate situation weighing heavily on her emotions, her close friend encourages her to take a much needed break to his cabin on a remote island in the Upper Peninsula.

When fish and wildlife start dying and wash up on the shores of Lake Superior, people begin to panic. During the chaos of rising concerns, Jessica finds her own life suddenly in danger.

Sheriff Seth Johnson is investigating the strange events surrounding his island, and he doesn’t have time to deal with Jessica Bennett, who in his opinion shouldn’t even be staying alone on Chicory Island.

After a dead body is found washed up on the shore, Seth and Jessica begin to piece together the devastating secret that will endanger mankind. Mysterious and frightening events are occurring which pull the two closer together. In the quest for the salvation of the earth’s most necessary resource for survival, two people’s lives will forever be changed.
