A retired journalist, Michael Staton lives in Henderson, Nevada, where he enjoys Black Mountain views of the Vegas Strip and the stunning desert landscape beyond the glittery lights of the valley. He honed his writing craft as a newspaper reporter at newspapers in Ohio, Florida and North Carolina.
