Alexis and her sister, Addie, join an international tour group for travel to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Bali, looking forward to an exotic vacation and the chance to learn about several new cultures. Related to her job as a journalist in Bangkok, Addie must interrupt their trip to take an unexpected assignment to cover a miraculous appearance of the Virgin Mary in northern Thailand. Before she can reunite with her travel companions, Addie witnesses a second appearance in another location.
