Follo Life Principles from the New Testament Men of Faith

This book is part of a series of books designed to provide a personal look at the lives of key characters found in the Bible. The theme Following God is one that
emphasizes the importance of building a relationship with God and living a life totally surrendered to His leading. Examples are given of those who received blessing
from a surrendered walk with God as well as those who did not follow His direction. This Bible study is designed in an interactive format, incorporating important Scriptural points of interest. Other features include a look at the characters mentioned from a historical perspective, as well as interesting facts about the time when these characters actually lived.

While this interactive book can lead an individual in growing in knowing and walking with God, we are also including a Leader’s Guide for Small Group interaction. The Leader’s Guide walks through each Lesson seeking to help guide discussion and application to one’s daily walk Following God. Individually or with others, one’s walk Following God can be enriched and encouraged.

Wayne Barber

WAYNE BARBER was a renowned national and international conference ministry speaker; his primary goal of ministry was to spread the message of ＂the sufficiency of Christ.＂People around the world connected with Wayne’s unique ability to make God’s Word come alive through his honest and open ＂real-life＂ experiences. For more than twenty years, he served as Senior Pastor-Teacher of Woodland Park Baptist Church. And for many of those years in Chattanooga, Wayne co-taught with noted author Kay Arthur of Precept Ministries and has studied under Dr. Spiros Zodhiates, who was one of the world’s leading Greek scholars. On August 29, 2016, Wayne passed away suddenly after a short illness. He is survived by his wife and two grown children, and several grandchildren.

Rick Shepherd

Richard L. Shepherd has served in churches in Florida, Texas, and Tennessee, and ministered over fifteen years as Team Strategist for the Prayer and Spiritual Awakening Team of the Florida Baptist Convention. He holds M.Div. and Ph.D degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been married to his wife, Linda Gail, since 1977. They have four children and nine grandchildren. They are always glad to encourage believers, and witness to listening hearts wherever they go. They now make their home in Rolesville, North Carolina.

Eddie Rasnake

Eddie Rasnake graduated with honors from East Tennessee State University. He and his wife, Michele, served 7 years with Cru at the University of Virginia, James Madison University, and the University of Tennessee (as campus director). Eddie left Cru to join Wayne Barber at Woodland Park Baptist Church, where he still serves as Senior Associate Pastor. He has authored dozens of books and Bible studies and has published materials in Afrikaans, Albanian, German, Greek, Italian, Romanian, Russian, and Telugu. Eddie and his wife, Michele, live in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
