It’s a second chance for love in the life of the bride, but her little slice of wedding paradise quickly becomes a disaster when a few eccentric couples arrive. She doesn’t mind sharing her remote venue, but she had no idea such drama would come along with them. One look at the snorting piglet being fed a bottle and she realizes she never should have allowed her groom to plan her wedding. What was she thinking!
“My baby girl is living in Urinetown.” She covered her nose and shook her head. “For God’s sake, will someone open a window or a can of super strength Lysol in this toilet bowl?” Then she saw Nate and her anger came to a boil.
“You invited Nate? I thought this was just going to be the three of us… a family dinner,” she whined.
Rock took her coat and hung it in the closet. “Nate is family now.”
“Not until that piss stain puts a wedding ring on my baby’s finger.”
“Be careful what you wish for!”
“Where are you going, Nate? That’s my daughter’s bedroom.”
“I was looking for the bathroom. I really don’t spend a lot of time here,” he laughed. He turned around, knocked on the door further down the hall, and was greeted with a blast of steam. “You didn’t tell your mother that I was living here with you?” he whispered.
Rock watched the two lovebirds with a curious eye. He glared at the sloppily discarded jacket, but it wasn’t until he noticed the basket of folded laundry on the floor that he put the mystery together. Their little girl was living a life of sin with her slacker boyfriend.
The overly protective mother turned to her husband. “Did you have any idea this young man was cohabitating with our daughter?”
“I think I might have figured it out when I saw the rainbow of jockstraps lying on top of the folded laundry. You couldn’t miss them,” he giggled and shrugged his shoulders.
You'll love this humorous, laugh-out-loud novel.
