Gird Your Loins

The New Testament is mostly about Jesus, but I have always been concerned about who the apostles were. This book is not "a hip re-write of The Bible." It is also not a new story about Jesus. It is solely about the apostles and their wives, with their brother Jess as a supporting character. And don't you think Judas deserves a break? How many of us have gotten a second chance after doing something we would never do again, knowing what the consequences were? All of us, right? And don't you think Jesus would give him one if He could? Well, He does!
