WHY THE BLUE LIST?
The foundation of The Blue List is this: Your life condition and circumstances are NOT the result of a few big choices, but rather the result of thousands upon millions of MICRO-CHOICES. To get up or sleep in, workout or skip, eat healthy or eat sh*t, be productive or f*ck off. And so on.
Imagine that with each negative micro-choice you had to put a grain of rice or two in your pocket. Each grain in itself is tiny; totally inconsequential to your life. But put in enough grains over months/years and soon you carry enough extra weight to slow you down, or stop you...or even kill you (in one way or another). At some point your pockets overflow and you fill up a gunny sack that gets heavier and heavier...and heavier. Meet negative micro-choices.
Positive micro-choices add up the same way but have the opposite effect. Life is better. We know this. You know this. It’s not rocket science. Yet, for some of us, myself included, we struggle daily with a force-RESISTANCE!-that wants to push us to negative, pleasure-seeking micro-choices (The Yellow List), and away from positive, life-enhancing micro-choices (The Blue List).
