Love Finds a Way

Brought together by fate, widowed Rev. Gene Scott and 17-year-old Susan Andrews discovered and eventually confessed the profound love they felt for each other as they lived out a series of dangerous, thrilling missionary adventures. Born on a farm in North Carolina, Joan Virginia Bodsford grew up with five sisters and loving parents. She was next to the youngest and the only tomboy in the family. Never blessed with children, instead Joan was blessed with five special talents--all of which she used to God’s glory: singer, actress, artist, children’s Sunday school teacher and writer! Married to her earthly love, Ray Byrd, for 29 years, Joan spends most of her time now writing, with the non-stop help of the charm, wit and passion imparted by her guardian angel, Patrick.
