Piet’s Palette: Exploring Geometry

When I was an elementary school teacher, I tried to incorporate art whenever I could. While teaching geometry I wrote this book to demonstrate simple ways to help students understand the concepts starting with the simple point and progressing to more complicated terms. Adding a bit of humor helps to keep students engaged. As an artist I used one of my favorite artist, Piet Mondrian, to illustrate these concepts. Now retired I use my travels as an inspiration for my art, photography and in my works as an author. I take my camera wherever I go.
