Defenders of Kindness: A Jiu Jitsu tale has a two-fold purpose:
1) to introduce your child to the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), and
2) most importantly, to introduce them to Jesus Christ. Jesus came to save the lost, and to give us purpose and fulfillment in this life.
The motto "I am strong, I am kind and I love others" comes straight from the Bible and is repeated after every kid’s class at Burdette BJJ!
As you read this book with your child (or your child reads it alone) they will be intrigued by this story of self-defense, and of the story of love and kindness, even to the bullies in life.
Additionally, reading this book may lead to your child joining a BJJ gym and learning how to defend themselves and others.
