Let Nothing Block Your Horizon!
Robert Louis Stevenson, the famous writer, was a victim to chronic T.B. suffering from the disease which wasted much of his life. But he would not allow the disease to get his spirits down. He would greet his wife every morning with the cheerful words, "Isn’t it a wonderful day!"
One day, he was caught in a terrible bout of coughing. His wife said to him, "Do you still believe that it is a wonderful day?"
"Of course, it is a wonderful day," Stevenson replied, turning to a window ablaze with sunlight. "I will never let a row of medicine bottles block my horizon.
Surely, we can all choose our attitude!
