The Marriage of Ophelia and Hamlet continues where Shakespeare’s Hamlet and Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead left off. In those plays, all of the major players ended up dead. In this play, we are witness to how these characters perform when they find themselves in the undiscovered country, no longer ephemeral beings. Each character has to come to terms with their new predicament.
There are many messages and meanings embedded within the content of this play and you, Reader, are invited to reflect on these and the many different aspects of human nature.
