He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Tamica, and their daughter.

Maliek Blade is the founder and CEO of The Whole Brother Mission, a nonprofit organization that seeks to equip men to be whole in every area of life. Whole Brother connects men with licensed mental health professionals, life coaches/mentors, and resources to establish a better quality of life. He has authored Whole Brother: Debunking the Myths that Break the Black Family.

Jermone Gay’s vision for his church began when he was in college, where he started a campus ministry that emphasized the gospel and biblical orthodoxy in the urban context. The ministry grew and Gay served as an elder when he graduated. In 2010, Gay was led to plant Vision Church to engage the inner city of Raleigh, NC, with the gospel of Jesus Christ through discipleship, leadership development, service, and social empowerment. Gay holds a master’s degree in Christian Studies and Ethics from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Saint Augustine’s College.
