Jim Stovall has enjoyed success as an author, athlete, investment broker, and entrepreneur while dealing with the challenge of blindness. During his remarkable life, Jim has been a national champion Olympic weightlifter, as well as the author of more than 30 books. In addition to his personal achievements, Jim was honored as the 2000 International Humanitarian of the Year, joining Jimmy Carter, Nancy Reagan, and Mother Teresa as a recipient of this prestigious award. As co-founder and president of the Emmy Award-winning Narrative Television Network (NTN), Jim has also helped make movies and television accessible for America’s 13 million blind and visually impaired people and their families. Dr. Kevin Schneider earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Science (MSc) and DBA in Strategic Planning from Edinburgh Business School. He holds dual positions as the Executive Director of the Stovall Center for Entrepreneurship and an Associate Professor of Strategic Management at Oral Roberts University. In addition to the leadership and teaching roles, Schneider has advised startups and small businesses in developed and emerging markets during his tenure at the university. He has also led diverse teams in efforts to develop and implement global programs and social impact projects, and provides consulting and advice in the areas of business strategy and finance, leadership, and social impact. In the author’s current role with the Stovall Center for Entrepreneurship, his focus is on equipping entrepreneurial leaders to launch startups, scale small businesses, and impact communities.
