Bhawna Tewari comes from a simple middle class family, where everyone follows religion and regionalism. Since very young, Bhawna has been an exception. She believes in God but doesn’t follow any religion. She prefers being called Indian without any regional suffix.
Her hometown is Nainital. She was brought up in Bhopal, and has lived in Mumbai and Hyderabad. She has travelled across the country and always believed that borders only increase distances. In her first book, she looks into the future and fantasizes about the world being quite different.
