A is for Asian American: A Children’s Guide to Asian American History

Cathy Linh Che is a Vietnamese American writer. She is the author of Split, winner of the Best Poetry Book Award from the Association of Asian American Studies, and serves as the Executive Director of Kundiman, a nonprofit dedicated to nurturing writers and readers of Asian American literature.

Kyle Lucia Wu is the author of the novel Win Me Something (Tin House Books 2021) and serves as the Managing Director at Kundiman and a senior editor at Joyland. She teaches creative writing at Fordham University and Catapult.

Kavita Ramchandran is a professional graphic designer and self-taught illustrator with more than 14 years experience in children’s educational and entertainment spaces. She recently made her debut as a picture book illustrator in July 2021 with Dancing in Thatha’s Footsteps, Yali Books.
