The world has been overrun by hitherto unknown beasts. Society has collapsed: the power is gone, cars are abandoned across the highways, and anyone left is hiding from the terrifying creatures -- and one another. Ingvild Bjerkeland is an author of picture books and novels for children and young adults. Her novel, Beasts, was nominated for the Nordic Council Children and YA Prize and was also voted by over 10,000 schoolchildren for the highest booksellers’ award in Norway. This is her first novel translated into English.
