At the court of the ＂Merry Monarch,＂ newly-crowned King Charles II, they call Cassia Montefort ＂Lady Winter.＂ Amid the decadence of the life at Whitehall Palace, she is the untouchable ice princess, a favorite of His Majesty, some even say a royal mistress.
