Redemption

When Kane walked into the diner to get his breakfast before a meeting, little did he know that the little spitfire of a lady that seemed so nice in the diner was one that was not to be reckoned with.

Kat had no idea that the man that she met in her favorite diner that morning would change her life forever. She had no idea that some simple little directions would not only put Kane right in her path but also in her life for good.

When Kane and Kat first met, things seemed to go okay at least at work. It was after hours that things would never be the same. First it is Kat and someone from her past that caught up to her, but then there was the mystery behind her life. Kane and his friends worked to unravel the mystery while trying to protect Kat. Then part of Kane’s past came back to haunt him.

It was when Kane started looking for answers to questions that he had about who Katrinia Rodgers really was. Did she know who her family was? What had he gotten himself and the guys that worked with him into? Did he really want to know?

Kat had very little knowledge about her family. All she knew Kane was hiding something? Maybe more than one thing. But what she didn’t know was what she would find when she went looking. Not only did she find answers that she was looking for but also ones that she wasn’t.

Will the secrets that Kat and Kane had or didn’t know they have come between them? Will Kane and Kat ever be able to finally get the happiness that they both deserved? Or will both of their pasts catch up to them and tear them apart? Will Kane be able to protect Kat from all that has been hidden?
