Long ago in the land of Egypt the Israelites, God’s choosen people, were enslaved and held in bondage for over 400 years. When God heard their cries for freedom, He sent His servant Moses to Pharaoh, the ruler of Egypt, with the command to set His people free. Pharaoh refused God’s command and as a result God sent many plagues to ravage the land and its people. Amid these terrible plagues two Hebrew children, Bayla and Alon, found themselves lost and separated from their families. When Alon bows before God and prays, Help Me I Am Trapped in Egypt, God answers his prayer by sending Asim, a young Egyptian boy, to their rescue. Together by faith and prayer the three of them survive plagues of sickness and death, as they desperately try to reunite with their families. Roxanne Ghee-Jones is living out her God given desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ by writing stories that children can enjoy reading alone or together with family. During thirty-six years of teaching children the word of God, her constant prayer has been for children to receive Jesus Christ as savior and become the Lord of their lives. Infused with the mission of her local church, she endeavors to raise up servant leaders that impact their communities and the world with the word of God. She is a member of Living Faith Christian Center where she serves as a member of the Children’s Ministry Team. She and her family reside in the town of Glassboro NJ.
