This is a book about shame. There is a positive connotation to shame. Then there is this shame that requires us to mask up like superheroes and villains. This book will ask and answer the most important question for those dealing with shame to think through. The question is ＂Who told you that you were naked?＂ This is the question that God asked Adam. This is the question that we never ask and therefore never answer. The answer to this question is the pathway to freedom from guilt wrenching shame. This book charts the journey of my life’s struggle with shame and my road to freedom. At the same time it will bring you along and help you deal with potential life derailing shame in your own life. The goal is for us to be able to walk on top of the oceans of shame and experience true freedom. Everett is married to Myra Pope and has two sons whom he loves dearly. He desires to bring God glory in everything that he says, does, and thinks. He graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology. He worked at NASA on the Hubble Space Telescope Project for 10 years. While there, he attended Capital Bible Seminary and received a Masters of Divinity degree. In 2009, he was called to pastor the United Baptist Church in New Carrollton MD. God has given him a passion to declare, dialogue, and defend the message of the cross until he sees Jesus face to face.
