Family, a man is diagnosed with prostate cancer every two minutes. Prostate cancer is 97 percent curable if found early through prostate health screening with your healthcare provider. It’s personal to me and my family. Four African American men-statistically at higher risk-were diagnosed, and three of us are living to talk about it!
Yes, one of my brothers died, and it got me fired up and passionate about my spiritual testimony, helping men of all races-especially Black men-to take the warnings seriously. My purpose is to "peel back the onion" and share my personal journey through my cancer battle, and expose what it’s like to face this head-on. I’ll encourage you to put your pride to the side like I did, and let it help you, my Family, to not avoid the warning signs and symptoms. "Let’s go!"
My story covers physical, mental, and sexual emotions, Family, and it wasn’t always easy. But I’ll give you some advice on how to heal, and enjoy sexual intimacy after recovery. My goal is to encourage you along the journey with my personality, Family, and give you gifts along the way! "Lets Go," Family!
A special thank you to Doctor Robin Shaw for writing my forward and walking this journey of triumph over tragedy with me. In honor of my mother Beulah M. Shaw, I share my testimony to save a life in your memory!
