When Lynn discovers she and her family are moving from everything she loves in Germany to a new home in England, she starts thinking about what it will be like to adjust to her new school, teachers, and friends. As a shiver moves down her spine, Lynn suddenly feels as if something is strangling her as her breathing becomes heavy. Getting used to living in a new country is challenging, especially when you are different than everyone else. Before she even steps through the doors of her new school, Lynn is already battling chronic dizziness and an upset stomach. But little does she know that what lies inside the dark shadows of the school is much worse than she ever imagined. Forced to endure racist comments, hate crimes, and bullying, Lynn mistakenly befriends someone who chooses not to see her worth.
