In Richmond, Virginia, from February 1981 through October 1982, Stephen Kaung gave a series of messages on corporate prayer. During this period, he shared at the beginning of prayer meetings held every Wednesday evening. These spoken messages were transcribed into the book Teach Us to Pray. This brief sharing on A House of Prayer was originally published as Chapter 11 in the book Teach Us to Pray, also available from CLC Publications.

Stephen Kaung

Born in China, Stephen Kaung was converted to Christ at an early age. He met Watchman Nee in the early 1930’s and became a co-worker with brother Nee in the Lord’s work. He moved to the United States in 1952, and has continued to share Christ with the Lord’s people around the world, as well as translate and publish the messages of Watchman Nee. In the year 2022 he went to be with the Lord he loved. His ministry continues to be a great encouragement among God’s people all over the world.
