When Leia Winchester goes to see a troupe of Native American dancers, she has no idea that her whole life is about to change. But as soon as she sees the performer known as Shadow Dancer, she is hopelessly smitten. Determined to meet him, she waits for him at the stage door.

Shadow Dancer is accustomed to having women flirt with him or make advances, but the beautiful young woman with hair like flame and eyes the color of new grass enchants him. Unlike so many others, she doesn’t throw herself at him, which is a refreshing change.

Leia is surprised when he invites her out for a drink, and even more surprised when that brief date leads to more. Little does she know that he is hiding a secret, one that will lead her into the Shadows of Eternity.
