After being wounded and awarded the Bronze Star for valor as a Marine infantry platoon commander in Vietnam, Arnold Punaro thought he’d left the battlefield behind. Major General Arnold Punaro, USMC (Ret.), served 35 years in uniform. He spent 24 years in the U.S. Senate, becoming Staff Director of the Senate Armed Services Committee. He was a top industry executive and is currently CEO of a small business. He serves on numerous boards and commissions related to national security.
