Blood of the Land

The land has its connection with a certain family, a pact made long ago between refugees and those who were trapped behind a closed gate. Blood lines are the connection. Only certain ones are acknowledged and permitted to rule and the sentient Land knows who is true royalty and who is only after the power a throne can give.
