Follow a year with us here at Villeneuve Andalusians!We are an english family living in the beautiful Poitou Charentes (now the Nouvelle Aquitane) region of France. We take you through our year, month by month, re-living the events. From frozen pipes to bumper vegetable harvests, balancing farm work with family life - spilling the beans about the cliques, professional jealousy, good and bad clients and our own personal injection of our take on life - through our eyes. This book is not just about the horses - but also an insight into rural french living, featuring trips during this year to the fabulous region of Provence and to the Dordogne. 2018 was an interesting year for our farm - with some real highs and some devastating lows. One rare and unseen event - we thought that we had been extremely unlucky but little did we know, that only a few weeks after, we would be hit again with a very similar problem which had sad implications for us as breeders.
