EN Heim grew up in Southern California, worked as a graphic designer and partner in a publishing and advertising firm for some thirty years. After the children parted their nest, EN and wife decided to make a big leap-they took jobs in Europe. The European lifestyle became addictive, and when retirement time came, they decided to retire in Germany. Since then, they enjoy the pastoral ambiance of the Franconia wine district and their late years. EN writes about his life, sometimes comical, sometimes not so. His wife attends to her cats and flowers. Everyday is an adventure, and every household holds an interesting story. He found living in a small farm town wasn’t much different from living in Los Angeles. The only difference, you know what everybody does, and they know everything you do.
