When the Russians realize they are losing the Cold War, they are forced to develop a new strategy for world domination. To pay the bills he takes a temporary job with a Defense contractor in Washington DC. He shows up there just in time to experience firsthand the most outrageous presidential campaign ever. He finds himself working for an organization which may be involved in the biggest political scam of all time. Cutter must sort through fact and fiction, friend and foe and his own follies to help confront the biggest challenge American democracy has ever faced.

J. WOODBURN BARNEY is living the life of a nomad with his wife Deborah who is his best friend, favorite wandering partner and muse. Along with Zoey the Wonder Dog, they are on an extended traveling adventure seeking out the best golf courses, the best beer, the best airplane gin and tonics and the best people to meet. He cherishes all the friends he has made along the way, from his days running parks departments and working for a Federal contractor to his retirement days in Fort Myers.
