In the most recent group to transition from the Dark Realm is a man Lucia finds herself falling in love with, even though he is somebody she has been warned against. As she struggles to come to grips with this, she finds herself drawn to help someone from her past. Events happening around her conspire to take her back to the Dark Realm and those she left behind. Lucia now has her full powers and can return in safety, but she must take great care to protect those in danger in the Dark Realm. While she is in the Light Realm, Lucia must make sure her interactions with Father Michael, Angus, and Fiddler are for the good of the light side. She must also keep a close watch for clues that might help Chello in his quest.

Kim Beatrice lives in the Tararua district of New Zealand. She is a frequent contributor to book collections in New Zealand and overseas. She has won international awards for her poetry and has an array of short stories and poetry anthologised in New Zealand and around the world. Kim attended university as a mature aged student and was determined to graduate by the time she was fifty - and she did. After finally getting the hang of how computers worked and with a bit of struggle and determination she came away gratefully with a Master of Creative Writing and a Master of Arts (Writing & Literature). Now heading for sixty, she has finally followed her heart and her dreams and written this beautiful story with her daughter her inspiration - An Angel in the Undergrowth: Transitioning. This is Kim’s third novel of the series and with Kim’s husband giving her the strength and courage to pursue her dreams. Kim is a member of the New Zealand Society of Authors.
