Kindred Spirits

Despite having what others would call a happy life, Bree Sparrow dreamed of more. She would travel to Colorado, continue her education and spend much of her adult years as a social worker. After the death of her mother, many heartbreaks and short-term love affairs, she knew this was the time to break away. While hiking through the Ozark mountains, Bree Finds a friend in the most unlikely place, inspiring her to make this place the setting of her new beginning.However, a new beginning never comes without a price. Eventually, the past will catch up with us all. And we must atone.

Ruthie Amos Colley was born and raised in San Diego California and currently resides in Western Kentucky. She has two sons, eleven grandchildren and is raising her teenage niece. She has been writing poetry and short stories since she was a child and is an advocate for independent writers. Kindred Spirits is her debut novel.
