Steve Vassey is the author of the Buck Hawthorne mystery/fantasy series, Methuselah, and The Cat in the Manger. He served multiple terms as president of the South Carolina Writers Workshop, and as editor for the organization’s annual anthology. Retired from careers as an environmental scientist and information technology manager, he currently lives with his wife and an oversized lapdog in Cayce, SC.
