BIOGRAPHY Rev Carolyn Belshe wrote "I Found the Orphan in Me" out of her academic studies in about a dozen university settings, several United Methodist leadership designations, and twenty-five years or so of administration/management in health care in the US and internationally. Her focus on ways to diminish suffering by finding purpose through the individual’s self-worth in her m developing care centers for parents that cried for help with a child with catastrophic conditions, to short term care for the productive citizen with mental health struggles, the aged in life cycle closure who sought affirmation of self-worth -- to war-wounded by their own people in civil strife. She taught her objectives in classrooms, in licensure preceptorships, as a consultant to businesses -- she lived it. When she was asked to establish an orphanage in a deserted Leprosy Colony, Carolyn found her soul mate -- the Orphan. For several years, she now lives a hermit lifestyle. Mother of biological and legally adopted children, grandmother, great-grandmother and mama to countless. She is convinced the Orphans are prophetic voices arising to be leaders. All funds from her writings will go toward establishing a center in Beira, Mozambique, SE Africa for coordinating orphanages to free stigma and grow self-worth.
