Derby is also famous university headquarters, founded in 1851, ready to offer international learning experiences of the highest level.Leicester is the county seat of Leicestershire, inhabited since ancient times by Celtic populations from the European coasts, it was subdued by the Romans in the first century and invaded by the Anglo-Saxons in the fifth.
