Authoress Redd started out in 2012 with her suspenseful and thrilling debut release GUTTA and has been on a roll ever since. She started writing as a way of coping with peer pressure, pain, stress, and frustrations while back in high school. As an avid reader she always felt in her heart that if given the opportunity she too could make a difference by touching various hearts and souls throughout the world. Once she became an adult she experienced quite a bit in life, relationships, and the real world which caused a few setbacks. Through her mistakes Redd dealt with emotional issues, incarceration, as well as other repercussions. However, after enduring and overcoming several storms, she decided that her past would not be in vain. Instead she began to reach out to other women through her witty style of urban fiction writing in hopes that others won’t have to endure similar mistakes. During the beginning of her writing journey, she was mentored by Ca＄h, CEO and founder of Lock Down Publications. During this period Redd gained a better understanding of the craft which helped to enhance her skills. This led her to become even more serious about her craft. Born and raised in South Memphis, she decided to write about love, drama, family, trials, tribulations, and relationships. Now with 22 books under her belt, she continuously strives to reach out to women and men all over the world concerning love, life, relationships, and overcoming obstacles through it all. She loves to read, write, cook, work out and dance in her spare time. She’s no longer just existing...She is now LIVING.
