COACH GATLIN (Fred Gatlin M.A.) is the CEO of Coach Gatlin Mind Set. Coach Gatlin is a native of Compton Ca. where sports, strong male coaches, and great parenting changed his life. He has been coaching basketball, football, and personal training student athletes for the past two decades. He is a former professional athlete that played quarterback in college for the University of Nevada-Reno (1989-1992, three-time conference champion, top conference new-comer of the year, two time MVP, and team captain). Professionally, he played for the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL (Canadian Football League) and the Milan Rhinos of the European Football League. Coach Gatlin is also a public middle school principal for troubled youth. He has been a certified educator for the past 23 years and an administrator for the past four. He also volunteers his time to teach "Independent Living" skills to students and foster youth in need. His life’s work is to help teenagers and adults grow and change their mindsets, one-step at a time. He received his Master’s Degree in Education from Pepperdine University and finished his administrative work from Brandman University.
