Monique Elise is a lifestyle blogger who currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A native of Reading, Pa, she fell in love with writing and literature at a young age. Growing up, she would frequent the library with her mother and get lost in various books for days at a time. Her favorites growing up were books by Omar Tyree (Flyy Girl) and Eric Jerome Dickey. After finishing high school, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Temple University and MBA from Rosemont College. With the support and encouragement of her family and friends, Monique ventured into the world of freelance blogging. She discovered how much she loved sharing her thoughts and opening a panel for discussion with her readers. In 2017, she decided to launch her own lifestyle blog moniqueelise.com to connect with her readers and share her experiences through her eyes. The Dilemmas of a Damsel Series is her official debut as an author and has been in the works for the last three years.
