Everybody has a bad day sometimes, but Mary Davis is having twelve of them - in a row! With a husband named Joseph, this couple knew Christmas would always be special to them. But packing twelve adult children and their families into one day of holiday fun proves to be less than joyful.
So Mary has come up with the perfect plan. She will invite each child to come home, one day at a time, thus stretching out the holiday season and avoiding the chaos of a houseful of not-so-holiday cheer. With a plan like that, what could possibly go wrong?
But day after day of her holiday plan leaves Mary scrambling to try to save the day. With a resilient attitude (and the support of her faithful husband) she somehow manages to survive all twelve days.
A Twelve Davis Christmas is a comical view of a mother’s love for her children, her efforts to give them her best, with a blend of Murphy’s Law folded in. If anything can go wrong, it will happen to Mary and Joseph Davis - and their tribe of twelve.
