My book, Economics of Abundance: the Bob Komives Conjectures, includes a Part One which describes the slow intellectual journey I took to arrive at my conjectures about the principles of abundance that should underlie our understanding of economics but do not. This shorter volume, We Sell Fish Upon a Cherry Table, lets you take that journey with me without having to grapple immediately with the not-intuitive conclusions-conjectures to which the journey took me. Whether or not my conjectures stand the tests of time and brilliant minds, I believe this record of the journey has value in itself as a way to rethink assumptions about what constitutes economics.
