Deborah Jackson’s debut album of photographs is designed to bring attention to the beauty of God’s creation. The title is taken from Ecclesiastes 3:11: He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Deborah says, "This photography book is the result of a very specific journey God has had me on during the last four years, which is why the photos here don’t go any further into the past than 2018. That’s because in October of that year, when I moved from California back home to Washington State, I lost some mobility due to osteoarthritis in both knees.
"I wanted to showcase how someone who is limited to walking short distances could still find beauty in what is close by, primarily in my neighbors’ gardens and in public parks that are easily reachable by car. All of these images were taken from some vantage point or other in the mid-sized city in Washington State where I now live or in places within easy driving distance."
