Selena Santos is no ordinary teenage girl. Sure, she has great friends and a crush on the cute boy at school . . . but everything is not as it seems.

The world has spent the last sixty years plagued by viruses, and the human population has been decimated. In a last-ditch effort to find a cure for the end of humanity, a group of scientists developed a program that offered hope: genetically altered children who are immune to the deadly viruses.

Forced to remain at a secret academy isolated from the non-altered population, Selena begins to question the true extent of her immunity. She knows she’s a science experiment, but the worst part?
