It was supposed to be an easy, rewarding weekend retreat. But everything turned to chaos when someone dropped dead under suspicious circumstances.

Jed Gray, a recovered addict turned therapist, has forged an unlikely partnership with a female NYPD detective. Their cases involve drug abuse, mental health and the opioid crisis.

After successfully apprehending a notorious serial killer in New York City, they are rewarded with a team building retreat. However, their respite is shattered when a shocking murder occurs in broad daylight, plunging the entire team into a maelstrom of suspicion.

As tensions rise and trust wavers, the team finds themselves in a race against time when a second murder occurs, raising the questions: Are the killings connected? Is the perpetrator among them?
