Kept Alive for a Purpose: The Importance of Cultivating a Gratitude Attitude

Kept Alive for a Purpose recounts the presence of God in my life, right from conception.

As I was growing up, scheduled blessings and deliverance were all around. I survived as a premature baby, only to be attacked by the army fighting in Biafra, not long after being sent home from the hospital. I survived many different kinds of accidents and was favored when it came to getting ahead in education, and in the provision of my God-ordained husband.

I have also been thoroughly blessed by having my wonderful children. All these are blessings of God’s divine provision and intervention, and proof of deliverance from the hands of the evil one.

Above all, they are proof of God’s faithfulness, goodness, and loving-kindness.

The book is all about the faithfulness of God over my life, which I have decided to share with others who might have gone or been going through the same challenges. You might be experiencing a feeling of dejection, questioning your existence in life, and feel as though all you experience is one challenge after another.

Understanding that God has created each and every one of us for a purpose gives a new meaning to life, knowing that we are a solution to somebody else; and because of the uniqueness of God’s purpose for each and every one of us.

No one but you can fulfill the call of God on your life. We do not live for ourselves, but for those whom God has assigned us to. So we cannot afford to stay as we are, but must rise up to the occasion of our unique God-given purpose.
