Secret Identity: Deadly Romance on a Caribbean Island

Alex Taylor is madly in love with Xavier de Verre and living her fantasy life on the island of Martinique. She is embracing the Caribbean beach paradise and writing her first novel, whilst Xavier films his television show.

Yvette de Verre-Müller generously offers the use of her yacht for the wrap party but she has her own agenda. Certain Alex is not the right woman for her son, she enlists the help of Lady Victoria de Savory, who is only too happy to play along with Yvette’s Machiavellian schemes and secure Xavier for herself.

Assistant producer Maisie Levine heads to the island for a few days holiday before her colleague Sharlene Cooper, daughter of famous movie star Grant Cooper, arrives to disturb her peace. Finding a friend in Alex, she helps her prepare to face the formidable Yvette.

Local policeman Captain Eric du Pont is in charge of security and must keep track of the Hollywood crowd descending upon his tranquil island for the event of the season. When a guest disappears during the party, Yvette turns to Inspector Giles Bonet to find the truth and keep the secret.
