The Distance Between Dreams

Set in Fremantle, in the years surrounding WWII, the story follows Sarah Willis a privileged young girl struggling with a complex family dynamic and Winston Keller, a working-class boy who’s never felt like he could afford the luxury of a dream. After a whirlwind romance, the young lovers are pulled apart by a dark secret that connects their fathers. As the war continues, they struggle to survive and let go of the memory of what could have been.
