Ginny is a milliner who has a young man come to work for her. She falls in ove wiht him but tries to hide tha fact because of their age difference .However eventually she gives in to her feelings. When his family notably his mother finds out she seeks revenge and Ginny’s life in is the line. Alex her young lover is held captive, her dog is poisoned and her house is destroyed. Later in the story Ginny and Alex flee across the NT. hotly pursued by two thugs hired to get rid of Ginny. Will they succeed and if they do what will happen next.
