The once peaceful relationship with the Insect civilizations has mysteriously begun to change and over a period of a hundred years the Federation now finds itself involved in a galactic-wide war.
A small task force stationed on a remote, now dying planet ironically named Futura, may hold the key to the mystery.
Along with the re-appearance of an ancient race bent on universal domination, the discovery of a revealing photoplate, and an attempted federation cover-up, the trail to the truth is littered with deceit and political power mongering.
Gracie Wallace, the last survivor of a race exterminated for their ability to understand the Insect languages, believes she knows why the Insects have changed, setting this small band of soldiers including cartographer/tactician Cliff Mills and his best friend, demolitions expert Sullivan Leeds on a mission to find out who’s really behind this war, and hopefully, bring them to justice.

About the Author:
Born a ‘Boomer’ in a small town in Texas, my young life was consumed, as most kids after the launch of Sputnik, with imaginary worlds and the wonders of the ‘Space Age’. My interest in space was further fueled by the awesome ‘B’ Sci-Fi films being made in the early sixties. There was adventure and hope and the possibility that we were not alone in the universe. Oh, and the chance that I might someday have a flying car, or a jet pack!
Always an Artist and a Musician, I painted scenes of distant planets and environments that I referred to as “travel photos”, and with my wife Katharine, helped create a band called Windshadow, that played original music in the genre of…you guessed it, Spacey Progressive Rock. Although we never got our ‘big break’, the band played for almost 20 years opening big shows for the likes of Chuck Mangione and Rick Wakeman of “Yes” fame. Shortly after that, the music was put on hold and Katharine and I turned our attention to raising a family.
