1960s - a notorious Canadian murder trial shocks Toronto community when a grief-stricken young woman mourns for her fiance killed at Toronto's Woodbine Racetrack. While living in hippie Yorkville village, Hot-Walker Frannie Harrison discovers a life on the fast track as she struggles with on-going sorrow and complicated relationships.
